The Year of 365 Days!

Nov 15, 2004 21:16

Today was an interesting one. I went to class as usual.... Actually, I skipped my first class, because I woke up when it started (10:00). I'm such a loser. How am I gonna learn to wake up on time for my job - especially when I'll have to be up before high school students??

Anyway, the rest of my day was decent. The funny thing is that I didn't even eat until dinner time today, though. I went to Indonesian and land plants. Then I went to Steve's product planning and development class to give a presentation on Bali. I actually felt knowledgable! That's a first. I could have gone on for the entire hour about Bali, but I condensed my speech to around 4-5 minutes. Then Steve drove me to my last clinical seminar. Yayyy for no more clinicals this semester!! Too bad they upped the observation load for next semester to 50 observation hours rather than 40....

After my academic expeditions for the day, I ate a whole bunch of Ramen. Good thing God created the 10 packs of Ramen for $1 deal at Woodman's, or else poor slutwhores like me would starve to death in hellholes like Dekalb. Afterwards, I went running for the first time in a couple days and played cards. Pretty soon I shall go to the Felix Culpa show at The House.

On a side note, come to the Bikes Not Bombs show this Saturday at Mary's Place... I think. It might be 21+, unfortunately. We'll probably suck anyways, because we won't be able to practice between now and then. Screw it. Let the suckfest begin.

On another side note, Hayley and I rock the house. We rocked out at the show and Spring Garden Friday night. Now more than ever I agree that politics is a forbidden subject for certain, select friends of ours. On Saturday we hung out after I visited my grandma. Good times. Then we celebrated Idul Fistri in Dekalb on Sunday. Go figure - she hate politics and we end up stuck next to some of the most profound Southeast Asian politics professors that work on campus at the celebration. Later that night, we saw "What the Bleep Do We Know?" Do NOT go see it. Poop on that movie (if I can even call it that).

Okay... so now I realize that this entry is ridiculously long. This probably tires your puny little minds. Therefore I must liven my tales by writing the word "poopy." It never fails to wake me up in times of need. Okay, I gotta jet now. Take it easy players and playerettes. GOODNIGHT.
