Starbucks the Anit-Coffey House
Went to starbucks today.. no other place to go. (Actually I am here now, NO I AM NOT USING TMOBILE!)
I order a Large Chi tea late. The woman goes we don’t have large, we have Venti, I ask if it's the biggest one. She goes yes... So I said I will have a Large Venti Chie tea late.
I proceed to comment that Large and Venti are both large, so it's kind of a waste.
She says, "Large is for competitors”, I say, I get it; I am paying $2.50+ for the use of "Venti" and the rest of the Chi tea.
She was not amused with the remark.
I also proceed to tell her, that all the other places that charge less for a Chi tea, have, taste, not like this spiced water! And $2.50 less.
Ohh well.. So I sit down, pull out my laptop, and just out of curious to see how much they charge for Wi-fi internet.
Get this.. $6.00/hr plus .10 cents per min past that. $29.00 a month, that REQIRES a 1 year contract!
Sheesh.. ok.. techy in me. I am paying (actually a client is) $80/ month for Sprint internet witch works all over the US. now not nearly as fast, but no surprises. just bull if you ask me
Sheesh, Panara Bread, Sweetwater Cafe’s, Java Hut's and a hell of a lot of other places have FREE wi-fi, not to mention, cheaper Chi Tea Latté’s that TASTE a hell of a lot better.
ohh yea... Java hut also has Couches. Witch makes a Coffey house a Coffey house!
BTW.. anyone have a list of the Detroit-metro free Wifi sites?
