*sobs weakly* So...much...money. I just spent £70 on petrol, Katie's birthday prezzies, books and make-up. GOD, make-up counter staff are terrifying. It's like, you're browsing, you're curious but you're not settling on anything in particular, maybe you'll get that or maybe not and you're just about drifting- "HELLO, CAN I HELP YOU?"
In Syracuse there was this lovely dude who did the big sale on handcream. Spent about 20 mins rubbng the stuff in. Then confessed it would be about $50. AAAAAAH. And I bought it. Because I'm a sap and when people are nice to me, I feel obliged to pay them for their trouble.
However, good things I have done this week:
- finished my 1topmodel photoshoot for the week (hahaha, going into a kid's playground with a tripod, big ass camera and a pink wig, "No, officer, I swear, it's for an online competition!")
- Bought Katie's prezzies. Not to mention booking up to actually see her in ze flesssssh.
- GOT A ROLE. AR YES. I had my first real business meeting with a director and at the end she said, "Well, I don't want to beat about the bush. You're clearly talented, you've got an interesting face and if you're happy to do it I'm happy to go ahead." So, lol, you is looking at a witch in Macbeth (I think.)
- Had dinner with Jess and saw Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which was awesome, I don't care what Radio 4 say.
Now I'm going to have a bagel for lunch. MMM JEW-Y.
