Because I'm awake at these wee hours and because I feel like it, I'm gonna tell you some stories and other things from today*
I wore contacts so that I could wear sunglasses. Then I forgot my sunglasses at home :)
Yeah well anyway I was waiting for the train to go to Hamilton today when the announcer person was like 'the train's delayed by 9 minutes'. Time passes**. 'The train is stopped and there is an indefinite delay'. Lots of time passes. 'The train is cancelled. And so is the next one.' These things only depart once an hour, might I add. So I STORMED out of the station, umbrella in hand, even though it wasn't raining.
I headed over to a bus and that's right, I got on it. Sat in the back and it was windy even though buses are pretty slow. At one of the terminals on the way to my desired destination an old man got on and refused to pay fare and didn't have a transfer. Some other stuff happened and eventually he was let on. A woman immediately boards after the man and she has a dog. Unfortunately she is also deaf so suddenly there's a whole bunch of commotion and stuff because dogs (sans muzzles) are not allowed on buses. Are bus drivers trained to learn sign language? I thought the bus driver was a little strict but I think she handled the situation well. Um, that's the end of that chapter. Did it satisfy?
Moving on, when I got to my first desired location (no, not Hamilton) I had time before catching my connection so I grabbed a muffin and a bottle of water. I'm on this other bus for quite a while, finished the muffin and took a sip of the water at some point. I got off the bus and forgot the water. Dang!
The rest of my day was relatively interesting but I'll stop it there because I don't want to go on forever now.
INSTEAD! I want to talk about The Office finale. Hey, look! An image!
I don't know about you but I liked it. It was only half an hour but it felt like an hour, and I mean that in the best way possible. I'm not sure yet how I feel about the "cliffhanger" but I thought it was acted really really well. Actually everyone did really well in this episode. I loved the tension and the chemistry and the little moments. Oh and I think Erin (Ellie Kemper) is such a great edition to the cast.
Oh now don't you think I'm done with my random talk. Well, I mostly am. I should probably stop writing so much so I can get some sleep, which I think I need.
I'm done typing now!
