opened up the fountain of youth in the eyes of a child
yesterday i went to samash with joe on and i looked around in the vast sea of crappy guitars they carry at samash, and i found this ibanez, it was black and all metalled out but i just picked it cause i knew it would be in tune cause metalheads probably flock to it and tune the fuck out of it.
and i was playin through this little shitty amp some blues riffs and just fuckin around and i saw this little 12 year old fat kid in the corner of my vision with his parents and he was lookin at me i was like wtf i just kept playing because i though it was natural for ppl to be lookin at me when im playin the best shit the guitar section at samash ever heard of(bad attempt at being concieded) nah but really i was like why are you lookin at me kid turn around gosh stop staring, or atleast i was thinking that.
And like i never thought much of it, i put down the ibanez that i was playing and i picked up a telecaster and went to the effects pedals section where i played like 20 boss pedals (which were kickass). and then when i was leavin the store i saw the little kid that was lookin at me up front at the counter buying the ibanez i was playing before. so my theory is that he saw me play and he wanted to sound good like me so he got the guitar i was playing,its really cool that i inspired some little random kid ill probably never see again in my life into playing guitar.
or it coulda just been a coincidence
but i doubt that, cause the guitar wasnt somethin ud pick enless you were tryin to look up to me ;)
well i felt really good that influenced a life, its fucking kick ass
i thought about that kid last night when i was playin guitar i wonder if he'll get good
or just let it sit in the corner and waste away.
he should take advantage of his youth and practice, so he can be better than me quicker.
