Chapter 30.
Do not neglect to show
hospitality to strangers, for by doing
that some have entertained angels
without knowing it.
Regret has no meaning to me. Do you regret things? The things that make you a sinner or another? Have we all not committed some of the same sins here that we held on our shoulders at home? Temptation will always exist, pull us from our world, strip us of powers, our will to sin makes us human.
An angel will not call to you tonight, but perhaps it will return at another time, sitting on your window sill, a silently answered prayer from our Lord, who has no existence here. Angels are all we have left.
I would call for the angel once more. For it can not cure me, but it puts me at ease. Did the angel have a name?
