For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters ( Read more... )

I am simply in thought.

What's flickering about in your head isn't anything near thought.

Sylar's brain is like: "tick...tock...tick...tock" eatingurbrainz December 21 2007, 06:20:13 UTC
A broken clock is easily fixed, just tweak something. Just as an operating clock is easy to break.

Schu is sitting there going 'Hojo, Sephiroth, and Crazy#3' teufel_schu December 21 2007, 06:25:19 UTC
Yeah, and for me, a broken brain is like that clock although I tend to know my way around minds better that anything mechanical. You... I'm half-afraid to get around your head.

Sylar's been riding on that train for a long time. eatingurbrainz December 21 2007, 06:27:44 UTC
Five seconds too slow, five seconds too fast. It doesn't matter, the watch is still broken.

It's best you stay out.

Schu is pretty sure Sylar would send him over the edge right now. teufel_schu December 21 2007, 06:31:34 UTC
As you said, a broken watch can still be fixed though, can't it? It's just a matter of finding the right thing to tweak.

For now, yes. I have two other fixings I'm balancing. Sometimes that light at the end of the tunnel is just an oncoming train.

Schu is pretty right. eatingurbrainz December 21 2007, 06:41:37 UTC
You have to know how it works, and how it is to be fixed. You have to see it.

Ever.

He has a feeling about these things. teufel_schu December 21 2007, 06:48:34 UTC
Some pathways are the same no matter the watch, aren't they? It's all sprockets and gears, just different materials and different locations. A watch is still a watch.

I'll take it under consideration.

Shul's a smart boy. xD;;;.... eatingurbrainz December 21 2007, 06:55:49 UTC
No, they are not. In minds of those like myself of Claire's, there is something different. A visibly different thing. It functions.

It isn't about consideration. It's about the lower level becoming a nuclear wasteland.

He's a legend in his own mind. teufel_schu December 21 2007, 07:00:14 UTC
I'm sure it does. No idea who Claire is though. I try not to go brain-crawling too often since people keep telling me it's rude. What's the use of having telepathy if you can't occasionally go wandering through everyone's dirty thoughts?

I'd like to think the gods would stop that.

Sylar shares that sentiment. eatingurbrainz December 21 2007, 07:05:42 UTC
There is no purpose.

Gods may be able to.

They should go drink except that Sylar would eat his brain teufel_schu December 21 2007, 07:09:38 UTC
There's always a purpose, even if it's just making one up. I do it all the time.

Let's hope so. I like my jubblies club.

Except that doesn't work here and he already knows it won't. eatingurbrainz December 21 2007, 07:10:54 UTC
A real purpose.

I'd prefer not to kill innocent people.

Sylar + Schu = BB? Schu needs a head of security at Sunde teufel_schu December 21 2007, 07:15:56 UTC
A purpose? You know anything about keeping lusty men from grabbing busty women? If you do, I can give you a purpose.

Always a good thing since I'm not innocent, but I hate dying.

And Sylar's terrifying in appearance. lol eatingurbrainz December 21 2007, 12:27:22 UTC
I don't really place nice with people.
