It is unbelievably beautiful today. It makes me happy.
I've been working all weekend, aside from all of my softball outings. At practice on Thursday, we played with the JV baseball team, like a combination of guys and girls on each team. Our team lost, but it was a lot of fun. And something really strange happened with a certain person that I won't go into... Then we had a massive sleepover at Courtney's house that night, which was a bundle of fun. I really did have a lot of fun. Except they kicked me, Carly, and Adams out of the room cuz we were too loud- correction, I was too loud. So then I slept in a corner pushed up against a closet in between Carly and Adams, which was actually quite comfy, despite how stupid it looked. hehe. I also got to get in Courtney's pig pen with the 3 piggies. They kept trying to eat my pants and shoes. Then I smelled like pigs. It was nice. And she has a donkey and a horse. I wish I had a donkey. And a llama. I'm sure they would get along fine. But anyways, on Saturday we all went to the MD softball game against George Mason, all except for Adams, Courtney, Allison, and Jen. It was kinda cool seeing college softball, and the MD team was pretty good. We almost got hit by a foul ball too. Other than that, I pretty much worked around the house for the rest of the weekend. I need money for the HFStival, which is next Saturday!!! I'm so excited. I've had so much fun there for the past 3 years, I can't wait to go again. I'm riding with Colleen and Sam, and then JJ is gonna come halfway into the day from Driver's Ed, which I think is a waste of money, but you know, whatever floats his boat. hehe, I love saying that.
I'm really sad that the softball season is almost over. Monday is our last game, against Long Reach. I've had so much fun with the team this year, its honestly been incredible. The tripod!! We gotta stay friends guys, absolutely, we do. Its been nice being busy everyday after school, I dont feel so much like a lazy ass bum all the time since I'm staying active. I really wanted to play a sport in the summer, but apparently you have to be in the rec league all spring in order to try out for summer ball. So perhaps I'll do it next year. As for this summer, I'm not that busy. I'll be going to Squam Lake, New Hampshire with my entire family for 2 weeks in the end of July. And then I'll be going backpacking in the Rockies in Colorado by myself for a week in August. I hope I'll get a job soon, I turned in a application at the River Hill Garden Center, so hopefully that'll work out. But thats about it.
I'm getting my license in like a week!!! Now that's exciting. I've been driving my car a lot lately, almost like everyday, and I love it. Its such a perfect car for me, even though it looks really crappy. I like the sunroof.
OK well, I suppose thats enough for now, maybe I'll be updating more often for those of you who are so interested in my life. Actually, nobody probably even reads this thing. But oh well.
