i spent a good chunk of the morning drawing pictures
of "the morning people" at perkins.
Morning people are a whole different breed.
While everyone is at work and school from 9-5
the world is theirs.
They sit in diners reading the paper or floating down the sidewalk. or waiting on a bench for nothing in particular. retired, unemployed, stay-at home wifes etc.
The ones at perkins are mostly older
with moustaches and a mad glint in their eye.
Its funny how they always seemed to be on to me, giving me nervous glances
Its true that you really can feeeel someones eyes watching you
I'm going back tommorow night to draw the after hours crowd.
my mom needs tranquilizers or something. Shes zipping around the house doing little things, telling us to go to bed and be quiet even though shes the only one talking or walking around. Oh well, she seems happy
