(no subject)
SNOW DAY! because there's no day, like snow day.
i'm a little sad because, save getting into grad school, this is possibly my last snow day of all-times - the real world never shuts down because of a little powder! this morning we woke up at 7am for studying and volunteering purposes and high-fived when the radio announced that we could just sleep in instead. unfortunately my body/mind would not take that suggestion and i've been lying awake for hours while ry snoozes the morning away. luckily, it's giving me lots of opportunity to browse on the internets which i certainly never have enough time to do anymore! later we are probably going to make bacon & eggs and cuddle and read magazines for about six hours. yesssss.
i'm terribly looking forward to this weekend of studying and dancing, i've been running on empty for the past six days. on monday morning i finally mailed in my grad applications and let some of the weight of the future off my shoulders. it's nice to know that they're out of my hands/control finally! after procrastinating around touching/editing/spending time with them for the past two weeks, ry finally forced me to sit down and finish them on sunday night and dropped me off at the post-office 8am monday morning. i thought it would be an overwhelming relief, but it hasn't been, and survey says i won't be sleeping well for another 4-6 weeks.
one really happy thing is that i found two really good penpals after much, ie. two days, of searching! my new penpals are fabulous and i can't wait to trade letters, etc. with them! i need more things to be happening outside of my bubble, i've been getting just too comfortable.
