Today is 9/30. that means tomorrow is 10/1 and that means my reports are due at work today. But, because of no fault of my own, they are no where near done. In fact, I did everything I could to reach and do extra work, but I'm stuck waiting on people who won't finish their parts until 5:55 and there is NO FUCKING way I'm staying after a minute past 6, which means if I get their parts, and don't have time finish before 6 I'm not even starting it.
It just pisses me off because I'm here from before 9 am until 6 and I'm 100% (well, almost) that whole time, and I manage my time while I'm here, and I'm not letting work fuck over my after-work plans just because other people don't and can't. If you want me to be "on call" let me work from home and give me a pager.
If it comes down to it, I'm running out of the office at 6 and yelling to an office full of guys "I need to change my tampon."
