Monday again?
It's not even 10 am and already I want to call it a day.
First, the bad. I was so distracted in the shower that instead of turning the shower knob, I turned the hot water on full blast. Please recall that sunburn I mentioned earlier. There were a few tears shed.
And why was I so distracted? My first paycheck at my new job comes on my wedding anniversary. It hit me that I've spent almost half my life married to this man. Big woo-hoo for sticking with it. But seriously, this man? What was I thinking?
Now, the good. I love Animal Crossing DS. It's my little escape from reality. And today my house was upgraded to the largest possible. Plus I caught a bug I had yet to catch so I was able to scratch another off my museum list. You just have to play the game to understand...
Finally, the okay stuff. Kids are staying at grandma's. It's been a while since the house was this quiet. But I have to drive 45 minutes to pick them up later. Gas prices being what they are and me not getting a paycheck for 2 more weeks makes the whole thing almost more trouble than it's worth. At least I'm not refereeing for the Bickersons (my nickname for the kids when they pick at each other).
