Ok so i'm at work, it's sunday, so it's early...and it's mega cold outside.. With that said the first luckystar tour was a good time all and all. It was dubbed as "Shit Tour 05" Cause dumb shit kept happening to us while on the road. Let's take a quick run thru...
friday_
we left ryan's hizzy around 4 something and we're lucky enough to get caught in about the worst traffic you could ever get yourself into. Now this show started at 6, we were the second band on the bill, but...the first band did a no show and as i said we were caught in traffic....we rolled into the show at 7pm...kids we're getting restless and we we're sick of driving. We rolled in, and set up and then just started to play. But the venue we were at was being dumb that nite and requested that the show be over by 9:30pm. So we had to cut our set in half. So we start playing, rushing thru our set when all of a sudden our head to our guitar cab blows on us. that's right we only played for about 6 to 7 mins at that show,...
SHIT TOUR 05 offical starts.
Time moves on, the show ends and we get back on the road...our next show is in Asbury Park...it's a bit of a drive so we decide to get a motel for the nite, but frist we need to eat. So we pull off at a rest stop, which was hooked up with a Roy Rogers..suprise suprise. We ended up blowing about 80 bones at that rest stop. Spending 80 bucks at Roy Rogers sux.
SHIT TOUR 05 strikes again!
Back on the road, we drive untill we arive in Asbury and Asbury is a scary place at nite. We finially find a Motel to stay at after Much looking around. When we went into get the room the guy at the desk was a total dick. He asked how many people in one room and we told him 3...(we lied actually 6 people) He informed us if we were caught with more then 3 people we would get kicked out...oddly enough we didn't get caught. The Motel was actually a pretty good time.
we didn't get any sleep.
SHIT TOUR 05 kept us up all nite.
Next morning we went around Asbury taking pictures of cool spots with the band...if someone can tell me how to upload pics...i'll post them up here.
We had a really good time with that and then we went to the show we were playing that day.
This show was balls.
We walk in, 0 kids and a weird vibe in the air. The whole band got into a funk and that lasted about untill we went on...which was 5 hours from that point...it was a long shitty 5 hours. But, we did pull it together at the end and played really well actually.

All and all it was a good time. I had a blast...did i get to play with any of the fireworks that i brought...no, but i can always play with them later.
