Unfortunate Update
Hey there LJ friends...
Life's been interesting the past few days, but not in the positive sense. Turns out the chest pains I've been having for the past few weeks are the result of a pretty big growth or mass on my left lung. It's supposed to be the size of a grapefruit. From looking at the x-rays and ct-scans, it looks like roughly the same size of my heart, but doesn't seem to be causing my heart any problems. So yea, took all the tests and crap, spent a night in the hospital after spending all day Friday in the ER, and now I get to be home for now till I know what to do after getting the results or if some terrible incident occurs, then I guess I'll be rushed back into the hospital. I won't know till the end of next week what my results will be. Until then, I wait.
Not having insurance sucks. I wish I got on that earlier, at least when these pains started. Gonna work on that asap. So I dunno what to expect really. Originally thought heartburn was the culprit... I so wish it could've been heartburn. Whatever the outcome, I just hope I come out of this the winner by beating this thing and getting on with my life. Doing my best not to be too overwhelmed by it. I guess I was hoping to get some of your prayers, wishes, and thoughts that I get better sometime soon.
