yaaaay 2006!
So the new years came and went. Steph and I had an OC marathon and it was wonderful. We rang in the new years with a shot of southern comfort, a shot of tequila, and then a shot of southern comfort to get the tequila taste out of our mouth. then we danced for a good hour to nsync and the spice girls. it was wonderful. then we continued our OC marathon. we watched a good 10 episodes. went to bed around 4, woke up around 130. huzzah!!!
christmas was nice too. i got a good load. it was a very busy break and im sad to see it end. it was very fun. im very satisfied with it.
but heres a survey to wrap up 2005.
1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? got a car. i dunno.
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? No and Yes
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? yeah, my cousins and my friends sister.
4. Did anyone close to you die? my grandma....
5. What places did you visit? um...my bed, for the most part. wisconsin. duluth. you know.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? a boyfriend
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? spring break, getting my car, prom, camp, tec, FINALLY getting a cell phone, not any specific date, i guess. except march 26. OAR! and nov 6, oar again!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? growing. i grew so much this year. ive gained a lot of confidence and self-esteem. and uh...senior girls dance. just letting it all go and having fun.
9. What was your biggest failure? self-doubt
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? not majorly, surprisingly. i didnt twist my ankle!! well, i did, but nothing major. the one big injury would be when i slipped and scraped my whole shin on the end of a dead log at camp. yeah, that was hardcore. and no big illnesses. except a cold and a bladder infection ALL IN ONE DAY!
11. What was the best thing you bought? i didnt have any major purchases this year. i mean, my car, but i didnt pay for it. i helped pay for WITs, does that count? if it does, then that was the best thing i bought. oh! and my OAR ticket.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? so many people....all the amazing people from northwoods and music camp, people from tec, my friends, my mother
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? my fathers
14. Where did most of your money go? gas and target
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? OAR, camp, prom, my car, my phone, senior year, tec, hanging out with adam :D
