I cut and pasted this from word, sorry the formating is a bit wonky hope it helps.

So, in one of the great developments of my professional career we are chasing a lead to help a large, off-shore gambling site develop their new poker client.

Two questions:

1. What are some online poker features that already exist today that you find really valuable?
• The ability to see what people had using the hand history.
• Constantly aware of how much money you have, as well as those around you
• Auto Posting blinds speeds up the game
• The ability to download data/data mine and use to analyze your own game or others.
• How the poker site pops up when it’s your turn to act if you’ve minimized or got to another screen.
• I like the multi color deck option
• The auto raise function - I find I can sometimes “rush” an insta bet/raise into a pot with nothing, or a semi bluff and elicit a fold. Online poker currently has the disadvantage that you cannot see your opponent(s), however the speed with which people act can be useful in gaining information on a player, or in turn you can manipulation your own speed in acting to advantage.
• Lower rakes than casinos - reload bonus dollars and other incentives can take the sting out of the rake, no tipping!
• Multi-table, and ability to change screen size
• Player Notes and being able to add weak players to your buddy list
• Table stats that aid in table selection, average table pot size, etc.
• Some sites offer “rabbit cams” but I personally care for this, but can see how others would
• I like sites that you know how many raked hands you have played - some sites don’t make it so easy - this was more important when I was bonus whoring
• Player chat area helps you find the fish/tilt players
• Waiting lists
• I enjoy rooms that position my avatar at the bottom middle of my screen

2. If you were building a new poker client from the ground up, what new features (if any) would you try to develop? I have some thoughts on this (voice/chat integration, voice activated commands, integrated statistics provision...), but if you have a second, I would really love to hear what you think...
• Definitely voice recognition and voice activated commands. I wish we had this now, I often find myself just wanted to be able to say “fold”, check etc. hands free poker with my mic enabled would be wonderful
• 3D poker/virtual reality experience/avatars/table - however, careful to not drain too much computer resources
• I also agree with more integrated statistics, or the option to have statistical overlay
• Security features!! Keep bots out, cheating detection, and encryption, secure card generating, ensure no super user function or hole card detection. Security is a big issue that is turning people away from well known poker rooms, first Absolute, now UB - legitimacy is also a big issue with regard to the hopefully changing tide on the US stand on online poker. I can’t stress this enough, all the bells and whistles in the world won’t make me go to a place with a cheating scandal. Ensuring fair play and security will get me to try your site.
• Having both Webcam tables and standard avatar tables (ideally 3d avatar tables)
• Create your own private poker table - so you can host a poker night with friends etc, without leaving the house -web cams would be nice for this as well - I think party poker had some version of this, but one that
• First person/virtual reality perspective poker table - like first person shooter games
• VOIP/Skype like chat
• Variable camera angles/table perspectives
• Mobile phone poker/I phone etc compatibility
• Compatibility with the new electronic tables
