So I'm officially working here: http://cpii.com/  in Palo Alto starting in July.  I'll be doing research and design, and there are a few other recent Cal Poly grads working there too.  Same place I interned at so I know a lot of the people already.  Also the possibility of them paying for grad school in the future, which I hopefully will take ( Read more... )

So one week into the quarter.  No doubt it'll be a hard one.  Most hours worth of class time I've registered for yet.  Though I think it'll be do-able.  I'm excited about Senior Project.  I'll be designing an exhibit to be used for the new Children's Museum here in SLO.  It's a themed, mock elevator ride that "transports" the kids into the museum ( Read more... )

My car got attacked by bird shit while it was parked under a tree.  Seriously attacked.

It also seems that a cat has moved into my apartment.  Some sort of stray.  But he's cool.

School starts tomorrow.

I earned the strong 6 points out of 64 on that thermal engineering midterm.  Luckily, the highest score was only a 24, so I got curved from a 10% to a 56%.  Managed to keep my overall grade right around a B-/C+.  I spent many many hours over the past week working on and programming a simulation for a catapult to launch an egg, only to see our egg ( Read more... )

I had a thermal engineering quiz/midterm today.  It was the most colossal failure I've ever experienced.  It's somewhat amazing how horribly I choked and just how wrong I was.  Apparently nobody else did much better though.  Also, by failure, I mean 20%, not 59 ( Read more... )
