Which character do you wish to play?: OC: Her name is Ellie Clarkson
Give a brief description or history of your character: Ellie went to Degrassi High School in Toronto Canada, but she and her mum moved to Albuquerque because her parents got a divorce. Her parents got divorced because when her father was sent to Iraq to fight in the war, when he came back he was a different person. He turned into an alcoholic. He started beating Ellie, and her mother pretty much on a regular basis. That's when Ellie started cutting. But she stopped cutting a year ago, and now she goes to therapy once a week, and joined a Catholic youth group. She also draws disturbing images sometimes. Mostly of her father, and of the times when he used to cut. Her therapist says it helps if she draws about her past. She used to play in a band back in Toronto called Downtown Sasquatch. She was the drummer of the band. But when her, and her mother moved, they had to leave her dumset over in her old house in Toronto.
Give us a sample of a first-person roleplay:So my new school is okay, I don't like it very much. Everyone is so.....so.......preppy. It's annoying. This kid Ryan is like so whipped. His sister makes him dress like he's gay or something. It's really rather sad. I just wish he'd have the guts to stand up to her, I mean seriously. Ugh. Whatever, I guess I need to let people live their own lives. There really isn't anyone else that remotely interesting at this school. Everyone is so into their sports teams, it's like "Who cares?!", it's not like their going to help stop world hunger, or give people who are homeless on the street a place to live. Are they? No. They're just self absorbed jocks who only care about themselves. I know Jimmy was a jock before Rick put him in a wheelchair, but at least he was never that concieted. Whatever. I guess this is wayyyy better then being in Toronto. Far away from my dad.
Give an example of a third-person roleplay: I did all of Ellie's parts and Maia helped me out by doing Jason's parts. There's no specific why reason why we chose him, it's just that we were bored, and wanted something to rp, so I tried out my OC on her, and she did Jason. =P
ZTate04 (12:30:03 AM): Jason Cross was getting out of his car with a smile. First day back from spring break. He played with his hair to mess it up a little and went inside.
GuitarGymnast231 (1:34:59 AM): Ellie Clarkson, walked into her new school. She looked around and breathed in deeply. She had her drum sticks in her hand as she walked down the halls looking for her locker. She was wearing a leather jacket, jeans, black high heeled boots, and a layered long sleeved shirt. Her hair was in messy waves. She noticed that not many people were dressed like her so she felt very out of place. "Where is my locker?" She asked to herself frusteratedly.
ZTate04 (12:35:51 AM): Jason had bumped into her and sighed, "Sorry."
GuitarGymnast231 (1:36:31 AM): Ellie's drum sticks fell to the floor so she bent down to pick them up. "It's okay." She said softly, as she stood back up.
ZTate04 (12:37:40 AM): Jason looked at her. "I'm Jason Cross," he said.
I'm of course GuitarGymnast (hahaha), and Maia is ZTate04. :D
Oh and my character will be portrayed by Stacy Farber. :)
