Eastwick Campaign?

Does anyone know of a campaign to save Eastwick? ABC is being difficult and not accepting my password. I can’t even log in to say how much I like the show. I really want it to continue.

question, save eastwick

I don't know of any campaigns other than the petition and the twitter, but I think we should all try to come up with something! Unfortunately, online petitions aren't much, and the twitter is a good start, but we need a little more... Brainstorming post, perhaps, mod?

I think you are right. A friend told me that to save Alias they made the characters out of paper bags and sent them to ABC. But I'm not sure how well it worked.

Oh, and fans are sending coffee to the BBC to save Ianto on Torchwood.

....Neither of those are very good ideas, the people we want to write to would never see that stuff, a lowly PA would. And you can bet they'd work on making an annoying show tank.

Actually, those kinds of things have worked in the past. The important thing is the mailing, of course, not the item itself, but Roswell, Firefly, Jericho, and Reaper all got renewed/more episodes/a movie through mail-in campaigns. And Chuck just had a similar thing, although they had the extra benefit of a Subway tie-in. Dollhouse also got a second season partly through viewer mail-in efforts.

The important thing is that people are writing, in person, to say that they watch the show and want more.

Agh. Yes, sorry, I wasn't clear. The writing is awesome. It's the sending items in that's a bad idea.

Well, the point was, sending items has worked.
