(no subject)
I bailed on that interview today. The more I thought about it, the more it just seemed too shady. The same company (but 3 different recruiters) has called me 3 different times (plus an email from ANOTHER recruiter). And they wanted me to be a RECRUITER. I have absolutely no training for this whatsoever. And he just seemed a little too eager to get me to come in and talk to him. He even called before the interview to make sure I was still coming. But I didn't answer, and I didn't go. Oh, well.
I'm definately going to the one with AT&T on Wednesday, and I *hope hope hope* that one goes well and I get myself a job. It sounds like more fun anyway.
STUPID ANTS!!! Gah! They seem to be all over my keyboard and desk lately, and I don't know why. But it's really frustrating. RAWR! *death to ants* (Apperently, Lemon Pledge is also ant killer. I rule. Die, you bastards, DIE!!!)(

I saw the video of the Nick Berg beheading (for those of you not news literate, he was an American killed by a terrorist group in Baghdad). *shudder* One of those things you wish you could unsee. It's all over the internet, but for those of you who just have to know right now, I'm linking it. I think everyone should have access. Because everyone should be able to see this should they so choose. (You might have to watch a 10 second ad to gain access. And it is INCREDIBLY graphic. I cannot stress this enough. If you have an uneasy stomach, this video is definately not for you. It really and truly shows a man's head being chopped off with a great big butcher knife. You have been warned.)
