hanging on the telephone
got the strangest call at work today. a "colleague" phones me and starts asking a bunch of questions about how the reports I run at work function and the administrative structure backing of our IT systems. after about 5 minutes she lets me know that she doesn't actually work in Ealing anymore and needs to crib up for a job interview somewhere else. after another 5 minutes the conversation ends.
this is someone I hardly know, but I respect the cheek of the whole thing. I hope they get the job, although no idea if they could do it or not.
