interview
So I had another job interview yesterday and, shock horror, it went ok! The only potential hiccup outside the quality of the other candidates is their concern that the pay scale isn't higher than the one i'm currently on. I think they accepted my explanation of needing to take a sideways step to change my career path so fingers crossed.
The job would be doing about 20% of what I cover at the moment, but for a local authority as a whole (rather then one part of a housing department). It'll also be a lot nearer my flat and a lot less chaotic. I'd also have a lot more influence in the planning and decision making stages rather than fire-fighting. In short, it would be bliss.
