I don't like the word 'obviously'. Each person has a different perspective of what an "obvious" or apparent action is, every person has a different view of objects and their relations to other objects... there is a quote by Anais Nin--"We do not see things as THEY are, we see them as WE are." So what is "common sense" to one person is not-so-common to another.
What of it? What does that mean for anyone? Perhaps it limits expectations--every dream/goal of an individual is different from another's. So perhaps one shouldn't assume anything. OBVIOUSLY one shouldn't assume anything when one ponders such thoughts as the above, but it is difficult to change a whole set of beliefs, an image of the life and its workings.
I wish I didn't assume things, I wish I didn't dream for the sake of not being let down. However, at the same time,
"Imagination is more important then knowledge." ~Albert Einstein
Dreams keep a person happy and goals keep a person organized.
I feel like writing a paper on this, who has ideas for a thesis? ;D
