Wow, what a night! I thought it would be exciting, and it was! So many primaries/caucuses were held yesterday, including my state of Tennessee.

I was very happy with how Sen. Clinton did. Thank you to anyone/everyone who voted for her yesterday! Hillary came out of the night winning:

Arizona
Arkansas
California
Massachusetts (where she won the young vote and she won even though the Governor and both Senators endorsed Obama)
New York
New Jersey
Oklahoma
Tennessee

She also won the contest in American Samoa. Votes are still being counted in New Mexico, where Obama was winning by a razor thin margin. The latest count has Hillary ahead now! Hillary did very well in rural areas. This speaks quite a bit to me, because that seems to be where us Democrats lose voters. We need to be able to turn out more votes in rural areas, and Clinton is showing that she can do it. The delegate count will be essentially a tie, no big surprise there. This weekend more primaries and caucuses are held in Washington, Louisiana, Nebraska, and I'm sure I'm leaving something out.....

If you live in one of the above states, get out and vote! Tell your friends and family, especially in these caucus states. Obama is taking them for granted, we need to stand up for Hillary and not let him automatically thing he will win just because it is a caucus! If you don't live in the above states, please take time to contribute to the campaign. I myself contributed $11 Friday. It's not much but if she gets a major amount of these small donations, it will add up!

For those of you in Washington, Hillary will be in Seattle thursday! You can check out www.hillaryclinton.com for more information, sign up for email updates, join discussion groups, buy Hillary stuff, and contribute!
