So, last night, as I'm sure you've heard from me, Gold Motel came to Cleveland, OH. The Grog Shop.
It was a teeny-tiny bar that my dad and I initially walked past.
The show was scheduled to begin at 8, and we got there at about quarter after. It didn't start til about 9:30, and there were three musicians playing before Gold Motel.

It. Was. Fucking. Sweet.
Like I've said, she was the first semi-famous person I've ever met so it was totally surreal.
wait, your mom said you made greta cry, or that you made your mom cry?

Ah after I met Greta and Chris and gotten their autographs/pictures (well tech I had gotten picture with Chris hours before the show cause he and Darren were outside together) I went to meet Bob. After I did what I needed to with Bob (ooh that sounded dirty) we got some pics with Jack and Evan from Steel Train, were on our way out and I stopped Greta real quick to say
"Oh by the way, I wanted to tell you how important your piano playing and music is to me. I take piano and you keep me inspired to keep learning" or something along those lines.
Greta was like "Oh that's so wonderful. Thank you, I'm glad." or something like that (It's been almost two years)
When we were in the car mom goes 'You made Greta cry'
I was like 'NO I DIDN'T!!"
But she still insists I did...
but hey at least I didn't do what she did...which was say to Greta
"I've had to hear your music all summer long"
And Greta looked horrified like she'd done something wrong she was like "Oh I'm soo sorry!"

Awwww, I'll bet Greta did cry (or tear up) at that. She seems like that kind of woman. So sweet.

And awww, that last part made me seriously crack up.
She would apologize for something like that xD

Yeah Greta would apologize for that but it was so horrifying. I'm like 'MOM!'
Though not as bad as when the guy was coming out with the tickets (and we hadn't bought ours yet) that she saw part of his tattoo and was like 'take your shirt off!' cause she wanted to see the tattoo but she didn't clarify and he looked at her like she was nuts.
