Three Kingdom's going to get wrapped up in July after 10 months of filming, according to the director Gao. It will air on CCTV as the opening grand show for year 2010 if things go well. CCTV had been asking the director to condense the show within 30 eps, which was impossible, hence, the finale version would have 60 eps.

He wants a balance between the three kingdoms, which sounds like a good idea to me.
While I prefer the younger look of ZhugeLiang (meaning shorter mustache), oddly, I also like the very old look : (the other older man sitting on the ground is Sima Yi)
