Ford Fiesta
I have bought a new car. An actual new car, not a second hand car. First for my family. We do not belive in buying new cars due to that market value dropping dramatically (when I went to insure the thing, paid $22000.00 for the car, the amount the insurance was going to pay was going to be the mark value and that would be $12000.00 before I had even driven it off the lot, had to pay more $340.00 more insuranc to have it cover for 21800.00). But with the nature of my job I get a good tax rebate for buying a new car and do not have get the thing passsed for rego for the next few years.
I was hoping to get a Ford Focus in June after I had saved a few thousand dollars but circumstances forced my hand and I had to get the Fiesta instead. It goes well. Not as good as the Mazda 323 protagae but that had a much bigger engine and was use to being hammered by me. This still needs a bit of wearing in. I'm happy to have a new car though and plan to upgrade to the Focus in a few years.
