NSW BLUES BEAT QLD IN QLD 12-8

Jun 07, 2014 10:45

Last week the New South Wales Blues beat the Queensland Maroons in Brisbane. That is an outstanding feet considering that Qld have wone the series 8 in a row. Bulldogs palyers Josh Reynolds, Josh Morris, Trent Hodinskin (rookie to State of Origin) and Tony Williams all pulled on the boots for the Blues. Reynolds and Hodgiskin playing like they always do, no fear in the face of the Qld star team. In everything, Josh Reynolds was made for Origin Footy and I think he should be the go to man every series. Trent did not put a foot wrong abd was out standing in defence. Tony Williams did what a 6'4 110kg man should do even if he only had limited time on the field.

Morris with his twin brother from St George Dragons Brett Morris put on two of the bravest acts in Rugby League I have ever seen.
In the first half Brett scored a try and in doing so dislocated his shoulder.

Not only did he stay on the field and do his job as a winger he also made an astonishing try saving tackle in the dying minuets of the game to win the game for the BLUES.

Josh Morris did his posterior cruciate ligament and while he was receiving treatment on the field Greg Inglis (the supposed greatest center in the game) run past him with the ball, Josh pushed the trainer away ran Inglis doen and made the tackle. Josh Morris will be out of the game for up to 8 weeks with this injury so will likly miss game 2 in Sydney.
But Up The BLUES!!!!!!!!!!

On a not so good front Bulldogs Lost to the Roosters and Manly in the last 2 matches. Against the Roosters we were missing our Origin players and aginst Manly it was in on a field more mud the grass so I'm not to worried.
