it's just too damn depressing.
hello virginia!
goodbye women's health rights.
hello science?
goodbye research.
hello congress with no knowledge of internet and apparently no care for the right to privacy.
goodbye internet.
it makes me a little glad i'm not in virginia anymore, but sad at what this government has come to. sometimes you just have to wonder what in the world made them think that was a good idea. it's funny how no one actually cares about separation of church and state any more. or privacy. or science.
personhood bills make me so very angry.
i am a person. i happen to have female sex organs, including a uterus that to the best of my knowledge has the capacity to carry a child. i, however, ought to have more rights than a single cell that happens to have half of someone else's dna.
and if they care about babies so much, why don't they support these bittypeople's rights AFTER they leave the womb? you know, once even their staunchest opponents agree they're actually people? care a little more about what happens to these babies once the umbilical cord is snipped and MAYBE i'll listen a little more when they say they're "pro-life."
i, as a human being, am more than a baby machine.
why is this not BLATANTLY OBVIOUS?
i can't even.
