lone star - where are you out tonight?
i'll admit, i was a sceptic at first, but i can honestly say that i love simpson university. recently i have begun to open myself to others and allow God to work through others to bless me. a couple examples: the other day i was doing laundry(finally) and had put my clothes in the dryer. i went back later to check them, and someone had folded the already dry clothes and stacked them nicely, and forked over .50 to start the dryer so the rest of my clothes could finish drying. i can honestly say that i wouldn't have done that. then that same night i was listening to one of my friends stories about how he had recently injured his leg. i had had a hard day, and he noticed that i had been staring off into space and he could tell something was on my mind. he stoped me then and there and prayed for me and gave me invaluable advice. just now i got in from talking to a now, very close friend in my lobby, she has been sad with me, and happy with me, and God is using her to show me so many things about pursuing a life of righteousness and purity. God is truely awesome, that's all i have to say about that!
