Now I'm writing in a haze of wine and happiness. I spent time with my friend tonight - an older but vibrant blues musician who's had some success in his time. I like his music, but I like his artistic sense even more and tonight over a bottle of wine he decided to try henna ink on my feet. Intricate designs quickly moved pass traditional patterns and fell into swirls of Viking symbols he's taken a liking to. I think it looks quite striking against a fresh pedicure with black red polish. I picked this polish color based on the name: "On Your Knees".
Now I'm in bed, comfortable under thick comforters and several furry kitties. A girlfriend with the brilliant ability to write smart panty-soaking erotica has sent me something she's just polished off. Perhaps once the intoxication from lust and sex wears off, i'll be incredibly jealous of her skill to create something so delicious!
Tomorrow I'll be sick from drinking alcohol. It's on my no-can-do list, but I don't mind making that occassional sacrifice for a few hours of joy.
