Originally uploaded by Amy Grimes. I will admit that my favorite subjects around the house are my five kitties. I work hard not to overwhelm you with their furry cuteness. Sometimes I succeed, other times - well you're stuck with my pure kitty joy.
I reread my entry from the other day. I will never allow myself to write ever again in the early morning. Mispelling, bad grammar and sentences that sound as if a 5 year old wrote them. I'd say "someone smack me" but I like it too much.
Yesterday was a lazy day at work. I've been putting in some long hours and bringing work home and I just ran out of steam. I didn't feel too guilty. With no alcohol Friday where I would have been too tipsy to work anyway - I figure I'd make up for it another way. Clay stopped by work to hang out a bit. He's had a crappy week and needed hugs and snuggles.
I met up with Wayne at the clinic and we headed out to Marshalls to check out the home section. We didn't find what we were looking for but I picked up a beautiful hanging piece for the massage room. We pulled pillows out into the aisle looking for the perfect arrangement for the sofa - unfortunately it would have cost about $150 to cover both couches. Why the hell are pillows so expensive!?!
Today has been spent painting. The color is beautiful! M is coming tomorrow and she's not going to believe the difference. The brown is so rich I wanna just eat it off the walls.
I still have more painting, errands and a date with my hairstylist. Oh happy day!
