What no comments?

I wish i could help but i don't know a thing about wireless networking. I think it might be worth plugging in a cable ... might just get you connected to finish the updates.

I posted to my twitter to see if anyone can help you, but i see you have anonymous posting switched off. It may be worth allowing the anonymous just for this post in case anyone has an idea.

i hadn't remembered about the anonymous posting switched off bit - can i change it for an individual entry (just looked, and didn't see obvious way of doing that)?

Yah i am sure it is possible to change comment options for a single entry. Unless they have changed it in the last 2 years.

hmm, don't think i can do it retroactively - reading FAQ suggests i need to adjust 'comment settings', and these don't seem available on editing an entry. hmm, they don't appear to be any different on posting an entry. i think i have to enable them from anyone across the whole journal (which i've just done), and then restrict them on individual entries if i want/need to. can't see a way to make it work the other way round (reduce restrictions on individual entries) - i'm sure it should... but i just can't see it right now =smile=

Heh, is it easier to order a 10m cable than to move the computer?!

most definitely (for me at least)! =grin=

(ordered 15m just incase, and to allow for any length i might lose going round corners...)
