fox!
hearing foxy-barking outside just now, i turned on the bathroom light, illuminating the garden a bit, and looked out from the kitchen... and saw one of the foxes! *grin*
it looked like one of the smaller/younger foxes[0][1]. it was on the paving stones just outside the house, between the ramp and the pots and tyres of plants. it snuffled around in a pot (that it might've buried something in earlier, or that another fox had dug in) for a little while. it sniffed at the place where john had split some beer earlier this afternoon. it paused and looked in my direction for a moment as it went up the path towards the back of the garden, possibly alerted by a sound i made. then it disapeared from my view... *smile*
[0] it's tail didn't look as busy/full as the smaller fox i saw in the garden the other day.
[1] it looked quite similar to a fox i saw running along the pavement outside the front of the house last night (around this time)
