fox! *grin*
i saw a fox in the garden today *beam*
i know they come and go, i see signs and i simply believe/feel it to be so.
and today - after some time of not seeing - i did see one of the local foxes again *grin grin*
thrice!
it was a beautiful grown fox, light sandy-chestnut furred, with a white tip to its tail, and black backs to its ears, and quite deep set, serious eyes.
it wandered 'round to the back of the garden, nosed in the compost heap, ran behind the raspberry canes, dropped down to the ground around the pond. it sniffed at the ground, and the hole in the fence. it looked in the pond - maybe it took a drink. then it leapt - across the pond, over the low wall... and then it wandered through the lack-of-fence to the garden next door left.
and then it came back *grin* stood a while, its back to me, me admiring the gorgeous black of the back of its ears *smile* and then it sat on the lawn - it scratched a bit... it looked about... it loooked at me... and i grinned back *grin* it seemed to consider this a while, then did wander again... and then leapt over the fence at the back.
and then back again! tho briefly... and over the fence-right to pat and ron's garden *smile*
