Second of all...you most definitely are still awesome at it.
Okay, feelings:
Positioning it a month from the actual kidnapping puts it at such an interesting time to get at Maxie's thoughts. The initial panic and terror is gone, and there is a somewhat (horrifying and devastating) routine of *hunt* right now, not knowing what the outcome will be, and there's nothing for anyone to do but hold their breath and wait and hope. Lucky knows better than anyone else would what Spencer and Audrey might be going through, and that puts him in maybe the worst position of all (though it really can't compare to Elizabeth and Nikolas and really everyone tangentially involved).
She shakes her head. She won't think that way. She can't think that way. They will find them. They have to find them. She doesn't want to think about what will happen if they don't.
Gosh, horrifying what would happen if they don't, any mother's fear, of course...but a small part of her is scared of what will happen to her own family too. (Which is only natural.) I love the wording there.
And I love how he keeps trying to reassure her that he loves her, that he is with her, even when he knows he must be away from his own family.
I loved the Robin and Maxie scene, and would so love this time between them with their babies growing up at more or less the same age. And Maxie going to Wyndemere to try to find Lucky, that wonderful soapy dynamic...it will never, can never really be over between Elizabeth and Lucky but he belongs to *her* [Maxie] now. He loves his family, but I love the hero in Lucky Spencer who always goes where he's needed...
I can't thank you enough, miss :) Great, complicated, messy wonderful, classic soap here.
