Lovin the iPod
This is what is going to get me to turn off the tv. =)
I was listening to some flylady podcasts this morning and that is exactly what I need....a friend to clean with. A little voice in my ears that doesn't nag, but helps me get up off my butt. ;) I need to go buy a case for the iPod and maybe an extra cell phone ear piece. The ear buds are fine, but I like only having one in so that I can listen to stuff in the background, but still talk and play with my kids, etc. I've tried listening to things like this in the past, but it's hard without it being portable.
It's nice to have it in the car too. My CD player in the car has a USB on the front, but it doesn't recognize the iPod. I will probably call customer support sometime, because it would be useful if it could charge itself in the car by being plugged in that way, BUT I do have an AV connection so it can hook up right there and work too.
My nice new living room is helping too because I want to keep it nice. I'm still doing a massive purge and it's nice because then it will be easier to keep the house clean if there is less crap in it. ;)
I might go out to Best Buy and Lowes today. Not sure. Best Buy for a case or maybe Target or something...dunno. Lowes for more foam floor pieces for the kids room. Or I might just pitch the other ones and we can get them later.
