I am a firm believer in celebrating your birthday and for being happy for the day you were born. I think we are all special and the day we were born is a unique day in our lives. I am excited for my birthday because it is the day I was born. Most people I share this with feel this is strange. I am so saddened by that. The day we came into this earth is a day deserving recognition from ourselves. I do something nice for myself on my birthday. To the greatest extent I can I clear my schedule on my birthday. Then I decide what I want to do on that day. I think no matter how small, do something nice for yourself on your birthday. We all deserve it!
