Turkey is for suckers...
So I got back and no one missed me, but I'm going to tell about my trip anyways.
Thursday got into Disneyland with some passes one of my dad's patients gave us (thank you anonymous, due to HIPAA restrictions I can't say a name, otherwise I'd have to kill you all). Rode Pirates of the Carribean, which was my favorite by far. Haunted Mansion was changed all up to be like "A Nightmare Before Christmas" which was cool because it was different, but ehh...Lets see what else, Thunder Mountain was fun, Space Mountain was closed :(, we went over to California Adventures and rode the roller coaster there and a few other rides which was cool. My Thanksgiving Day meal was a pretzel shaped like Mickey's head and some cookies and cream fudge...nice. That's about it.
Friday we went to Six Flags. Rode a couple rides early before the crowds got there, but then we (my brother, sister, and I) stood in line for the Riddler's Revenge for seriously like 2 1/2 hours. We waited in the little lines that they seperate each cart for like 30 minutes. One of the trains kept not working and then someone puked and they had to clean it up. Then the ride wasn't even that great. It almost ruined the day, but then we got on a couple more smaller coasters and my sister and I rode the Goliath right before we left. It was awesome. Totally made the day.
Saturday was a bit cold and windy and we almost decided not to go back, but we did. And it was much less crowded and the lines were shorter. Unfortunately, 2 of the rides we put off the day before were closed because of the wind. But some of the coasters we were able to get off and run around and ride again right away. It was pretty damn fun. Good times.
Drove back today. We were gonna stop at that big factory outlet center that's between Phoenix and LA but it was crazy busy so we didn't. I'd like to take a weekend and go there sometime though. One thing though...I've been there a few times now and LA sucks...Fuck the smog, fuck the traffic, fuck sinking into the ocean. I'll take Phoenix anytime over there.
