So, in the last 8 or so months I've been working like crazy. In a valiant attempt I tried to unload all 15,000 books in my basement. I think I'm nearing the halfway mark on those. I painted the interior of the house, threw away, gave away, and garaged saled everything that I had absolutely no use for. It turns out that you really don't need a lot of things to be happy. Imagine!

I also got immersed heavily into Second Life, where I got the building bug. Hello, I am a texture whore. How are you?

See, I didn't intend to get into Second Life, but I signed up one day (it didn't help that it was free) and I created an avatar and then I started buying things inworld and OMG, clothes and shoes and hair and skins...

Okay, pulling back some. Deep breath. Let it out.

And then I started wondering how hard it would be to build things and I started messing around with prims and the next thing you know I built a house. And another one. And a trailer house. And...

Okay, pulling back some. Deep breath. Let it out.

So, between knuckling down and cleaning out my basement (including all the stuff from my sister-in-law's house) and Second Life, I've barely had a moment to breathe.

I also found a couple of Firefly sims! Shitfire and save the matches. Firefly sims with Firefly spaceships and Rim world communities. Is it any wonder that I've been eating the good crack?

I've also been writing like crazy on original stories. It's like a pipe opened and I've been flooded with ideas and characters and woah. I hope to have another manuscript making the rounds by the first of the year. Yay!

And, how have you guys been?
