boys and reading
So, apparently there's been this big movement lately to improve boys' literacy rates. I hadn't realized it was a problem. Now, I'm a big un-fan of separating kids by gender before they're even into puberty, but while any individual kid can end up anywhere in the spectrum, this article made some interesting points about what girls versus boys tend to look for in a book. My siblings and I certainly fit the pattern in many ways, at least before high school. Comments?
