(no subject)
Woo! I had a fun time last night. I drove down to the Knitting Factory to see Tommy & the High Pilots. It was in the "AlterKnit Lounge" which was a pretty cool little place. They only got to play for a half an hour which was a bummer, but they sounded really good. I knew Dan was going to be there since Steve mentioned it at the Mercury Lounge over the weekend so I was looking forward to seeing him alllllll day long. Little did I know I would get to see so much of him! I got a hug and a kiss on the noggin. After they played Steve, Dan, John and I hung outside for a bit and then Dan, John and I went to 3 Clubs to see Dan's friend's band, The Karabal Nightlife. I think John only saw a couple songs before he had to take off and then Dan and I headed out a little after midnight. It was good times for sure. Driving home though... once I hit Oxnard (so close!) it was ROUGH. I was sleeeeepy.
I have a crapload of homework to do this weekend, namely film homework. Ugh. I have no desire to do it but it must be done. I work all weekend too which means I probably should be doing it right now but we all know that's not going to happen. I cut my bangs and am wearing them down for the first time in like, 2 months. Exciting stuff. I know you care. I am not a fan of our new dog. :\
