(no subject)
I somehow got ridiculously addicted to this song. IDK IDK.
Two weeks ago we had to put one of our dogs to sleep and just the other day we found out we may have to do the same with our dog that we've had for 10 years sometime in the near-ish future as well. On top of that, my Dad had brain surgery today. I was trying to think positive thoughts all day but of course I was still worried. He got out of surgery just fine a few hours ago though and I actually just spoke to him on the phone for a minute. I burst into tears after we hung up. SO RELIEVED.
I randomly discovered a cute boy at my Mom's work. I'm sure nothing will come of it though. It's only a distraction from that other boy and it's not really working anymore. Thank goodness for school and now work to keep me busy. I start my new job at Starbucks tomorrow. I'm a wee bit nervous. I have school starting at 8am tomorrow too. Yuck. Oh! I have a new (to me) car now. It's a green '95 Volvo 850. I keep slacking on taking pictures of it (sorry Dawn!).
I think I'm going to go to TSOL @ the Velvet Jones on Friday since I'll be getting out of work too late to drive to Pomona to see Tommy & the High Pilots play. Ok, I have to do some reading for my Women's History class tomorrow morning and then hit the sack and hope I don't sleep through class again!
