Reminder & Recommendation
Just a reminder that the Festivals challenge runs till the end of December. It would be great to see a few entries!
And a rec: For those of you who haven't yet got around to browsing the Yuletide 2005 archive... 'Calving' was written for me there; it's really caught the simple yet eloquent prose style of 'On the High Marsh', all the characterisations are just perfect, and the story's full of telling details. A lovely story.
