Almost over........
The parcels are finaly starting to dwindle down to a normal level and I couldn't be more happy about it. Maybe I'll finally be able to get some rest now that I won't have to be working so much (and killing myself while I'm there)
Yule was wonderful, first a ritual at C's home, then an all night vigil with autumnsfolly and fionablackwolf. I only wish that we would have gotten to the Drumming up the Sun a little sooner. I didn't even get to take my drum out of the truck, and then I have to run back and find a new parking spot since my first choice wasn't a good one..hehe.
After we went to breakfast and really had a great time.
Christmas day was actually very nice. The whole family showed up and there wasn't an arguement to be had. That was the best part. I got some awesome gifts from my parents (the one that's most noteable was the $100 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble which is gone already..hehe). I got the Egyptian Book of the Dead and some calligraphy supplies and a cool book called Sacred Symbols.
Paul gifted me with a pair of God/Goddess candle holders and an awesome pendant showing the wheel of the year. Even though he doesn't participate in my path, at least this shows that he's paying attention, for which I couldn't be more happy.
My brother and SIL made us some homemade polish and italian sausage which will make for an awesome dinner one of these night soon.
Now all I need to do is get some rest. I took the week of the Martin Luther King holiday off from work so that maybe I can get myself (and my house) back together, and I also took a 4 day weekend at the end of January for my birthday.
We are hopefully going to go and see the next LOTR movie on New Years Day since there won't be much else going on. That should be fun.
