(no subject)
SHOPPING today.
Went to TJMaxx with my mom to get new bowls for the cat to eat and drink out of. We have to shop amongst designer knockoffs, you see, for my cat, because a plastic thingem from Wal-Mart simply isn't good enough for Princess Kitty. Ate at Lone Star. Went to the mall and shopped. Old Navy, AE, bla bla bla.
Finally added some new clothes to the wardrobe: before today, all my clothes have been with me for two years or more. My newest shirt I got for $9.99 at a concert at church almost exactly two years ago. Oh, and the AKA t-shirt from Corinne, but that doesn't really count. So if you see me around, and I'm not wearing a t-shirt with baggy jean shorts, don't do a double-take--that is indeed me!
Got most of the clothes from Penney's, though--I'm under no illusions about my favorite stores, Old Navy and AE. No freakin' way they have clothes in my size, so it's to the larger department stores I go. I have some more clothes on hold at Dillard's to my mommy's sublime joy. She's been begging me to buy more clothes for the past couple of years, and all of a sudden, I want more clothes than she has money on hand for, so she's ecstatic. She also wishes my sister would stop Goodwilling it, by the way (that's a secret message).
Drove home, and K-Mart grabbed mommy's eyes. She loves M&Ms, and they have a decent Fat People Section, so I shopped through there and got four verrry nice shirts and two new pairs of flip-flops. I actually match! :-0
Got the day off tomorrow. Dunno what to do. Prolly pick up the clothes from Dillard's, but after that? *shrugs*
Going to go curl up with my favorite candy (Butterscotch Disks) and read.
