Well. It's been odd to be home so far. Pip (Kitty!) remembers me well so far--she's been extremely affectionate and seems to have set up camp in my bed. 'Rents found out about most of the uhm...things I've been up to this year so far, mostly because I'm a horrible liar (I hate to lie), and they know how to grill me or to pick up random facts to put pieces together.
I dislike parents who have been there, done that. They're harder to fool.
My vacation so far can be defined by one word: "sweaty." It's humid and hot here. Blech. *shrugs* Welcome to Florida. Spring Hill and I are getting on well so far--I have steadfastly avoided saying anything bad, and there were several bad storms that didn't rain on Spring Hill, or anywhere near me. The deal's holding.
And I just had deja vu.
