It has occurred to me that I'm extremely happy. In general, I mean, about where I am in my life right now. Screw the whole Pre-Determined Path! I pave my own way and I damn well like it! Also, I don't quite feel like typing tons today, so this might be a brief entry.
I went to San Francisco this past weekend! Ryan and I had our little booth for the Woolman Semester at the 'Power to the Peaceful' festival. I believe it was successful! I definitely feel more confident about going out and traveling on my own now, and talking to students about the program. I know more than I thought I did, which is usually how it goes. Anyway, we stayed the night in SF and had a grand old time. He took me to this a park/hill at night that overlooks the entire city and it was absolutely beautiful.
I think I had other things to talk about. But I am listening to good music right now (the new Cartel CD as well as the song California by Copeland that Pedro sent me) and I can't think beyond my happiness and appreciation for happy/bouncy music. So, instead, pictures again!
Pacific Ocean
I am probably overly excited about being in the Pacific Ocean, but there you have it.
Pacific Ocean
Ryan is obviously not as excited as I am. Been there, done that.
Arbor House
Daniel and Ryan jamming in the Arbor House. I fell asleep. (And they took a picture of me -- creeps!)
Dana and Tuui
On our day trip to this gorgeous spot on the Yuba River.
Friends
Daniel, Dana, Tuui and Ryan on our walk back from the Yuba River.
