I'm cheating. I do not have my own computer yet, but I had the time and the means to load a few pictures up on the office computer. Tell me you don't love this place! You can click on the picture to make it bigger, if you so wish.
The Grand Canyon! Taken from the plane (obviously) during my last flight from Las Vegas to Sacramento.
I took this picture Tuesday morning, on the drive from the Runyan's house to Sierra Friends Center. I just thought the countryside was so gorgeous, what with the contrast between golden fields, green trees, and blue sky.
Another shot of the countryside. Taken through the dirty window. Haha.
Sierra Friends Center! This is about... one fiftieth of the entire place, but you get the idea. The buildings from left to right are the Meeting House, Dining Hall, Administration Building, and Doug/Dorothy's house.
Daniel and Benjamin with the two new horses, Serephina and Oberon. Both Daniel and Benjamin live in the Stone House as well, Daniel with his wife Dana and their 10 month old son Tu'ui, Benjamin with his two daughters and his girlfriend with her two sons. (Sound complicated? It is, a bit.)
This is the Stone House, my dwelling place. My room is to the left.
My room! I think Trefalgar fell on the floor for this picture..
Another shot of my room. With all the pictures of you guys up on the wall, as well as Josh's beautiful blanket from Ecquador serving as my closet "door". Thanks buddy!
Another shot of the common greens, which are conveniently placed between the Stone House and the administration building. I read there a lot. It is actually nice being outside here, being as there's not humidity. Mwahahaha.
The Yuba River! This is that gorgeous gorgeous place I mentioned the other day. And really, the pictures hardly do it justice. There's nothing for it but for everyone to come visit and see it themselves, I suppose.
Another view of the Yuba. The two people down by the water are Coleman, the peace studies teacher, and Kate, the world issues teacher. I think they were attempting to purify water for drinking?
A doe and her two fawns that walked passed me in the yard when I was reading.
Capoeira, action shot. I can't wait until I can load up a video, it'll be awesome.
