Glass, "Keeper of the Light"
This ten-inch high hand-blown egg was a gift from daughter, Tracy. The glass is from Spectrum Glass Co. and named Spirit-Firelight. The colorful reflections are from a stained glass piece I made years ago that hangs in one of our front windows and faces west. When the sun is setting, there are about 10 or 15 minutes when the light hits it all just right and everything comes to life with brilliant colors bursting from the window and lighting up the egg from within while escaping and splashing across a white marble top table!
